its a new algo defined by google to penalize duplicate content site and rank unique content sites on top of search engine, P.S, it only seems to be affecting original sites so far

The panda is the new algorithm that google recently launched. The main google of the panda algo is to eliminate or remove those poor and low quality sites. Sites that has a duplicate content counted as a poor quality sites. The time panda has first launched last February, there are a lot of sites got affected by it. And not just the poor quality sites that got affected but also those sites having quality content in it. With quality sites, the panda boost their rankings and revenue.
basicly its the improvement google made to its search results to show better quality content for theirusers. this affected a lot of websites, as they had a drop in numbers of google traffic they received compared to pre panda update.
I have a old blog that i dont use anymore but it has some very interesting articles. If i transfer these articles to my new blog and delete the articles from my old blog... Is this where panda comes into action? And what would panda actually do?
