Hello friends, I am running a forum based website, my website has home, about us and history pages, but they are not designed yet, and the forum is running on subdomain i.e forum/site_name, but as pages are not ready yet, I have not submitted my website to google search engine, and the forum content updation is also crawling at very slow rate. (1 or 2 threads in 2 days) My question is that, as my pages are not ready yet, still should i submit my website to the google search engine or should I wait till the pages gets ready. And most important, after submitting website to the google search engine, when I site will be approved for google adsense, means is there any criteria for a forum based website, like blog, that blog should be old by 6 months and all that... if it is please let me know... please let me know any other precautions do I need to take so that I can be successful obtaining the google Adsense on my website.
I think the 6 months rule doesn't apply only to blogs, but I don't know. You should first finish your forum, add content, then submit it to google search, then apply for adsense. If your forum has potential and some content, you might get approved by adsense, if not you can always try again later.
Just make sure that your site is getting a decent amount of traffic, your design and XHTML/CSS code is clean and looks good, and that Google has had some time to crawl your site in order to index most pages. I'm not sure if it affects much, but I would think that by having a decent Alexa rank you increase your odds as well.
Thanks, for your help. But nobody haven't answer for the less number of post updated on the forum, and the precautions that need to take before submitting website to the search engine.
