    I think it is kinda rough and lack of features compared to Facebook, it will take a long long time before it can displace Facebook. But I will never dare to underestimate Google.

    Google +1 does not have any direct impact to search result, the number of + will not take count into PR, this is to avoid user cheating. However it will create indirect impact, because when large number of user click on the particular search result, it will impact the search ranking.
