What is a Google +1 tool. How we can use it in website promotion. I got the information it is help full in SERP improvement but it I am enable to use it. Can some one provide information about using Google +1 tool.

In short Google is going Social, this is their match for Facebook "Like" button. Its good for engaging user's participation

They noticed Facebook was taking over in terms of traffic. Google doesn't want to lose #1 position in traffic.
In fact, I liked playing with the function. My first thought is that you no longer need time to think when you look at all: Google will offer and find something before even thinking about it.
I am not sure, if this will really help to increase the rankings in google or any help for SERPs. Google is just trying copy the function which Facebook has and have been successful since it was introduced. More and more people are integrating the facebook like button on their websites to have more likes and more traffic. This is what is really eating up google's number one position so they have come up with some similar and new kind of stuff. I guess its just a stunt to remain in the limelight I hope it is effective and has some really good measures to increase the traffic and rankings in google.
Is it live yet? I havet seen any +1ed search result yet. I think only +1ed results by your friends must be promoted ( or it is not yet live ? ) is there any -1 too ? If it is there it would be dangerous
Don't think so, as i have not noticed it recently on Google between, i have read an article on another forum which tells that you need to be logged in to your Google account to be able to use this feature Just like facebook which requires you to login first in order to like something
