what is going on :/

Yesterday i was ranking at top 20 for 30 keywords.Today m not even in top 500 after changing the title,meta keywords,meta desc,validating and fixing all my css,xhtml errors.

 

Ask a fairy... And what was yesterday?

 

I doubt google would have picked up those changes that quickly, for me it usually takes a couple of days to a couple of weeks depending on how often the site is crawled. I would imagine what you atre experiencing is the regular fluctuations in the serps, the 'Google Dance'

yesterday I was #1 and #5 for quite good keywords. Today nowhere to be found ... there was some change i think

 

It's new google algo called google shuffle.
When they do not know what to do with a website (it happen often imho), they generate a random number 1 <> document found for keyword and put your site there.

Seriously, it's a month my site is like a yoyo: as soon as I get page one with a keyword, the day after they boot me nowhere.
And NO, I did not make any change on the site, beside adding new content.

Thanks God google is not my main source of traffic.

 

Google shuffle... I think that is called Google Dance?

 

To be honest, I would ignore serps, check them once, maybe twice a month.
Just concentrate on link building, article/content creation etc, it will work itself out eventually, and you will be ahead of all the other site owners who have spent their time checking serp positions.

donot worry you will get back your ranking soon but it will take sometime "10-15 days". just keep linking to your site.

one of my site was ranking well till yesterday & today it gone..
I am not able find my site not even in top 500.

 

Google Dance is/was another issue..
I really hope they don't do random ranking LOL! (or maybe not?)
My post was a kind of joke in reply to a question that probably has no answer (look at the smile)

 

I dont think the changes are picked up that quickly . Keep an eye and I think it will settle down .

 

Back or not... maybe your high position was temporary. Or not... who knows. You know your site best. Anyway DONT PANIC.

ps: is there any name for this panic people reactions to Google dance?

 

Been there for quite a long time now. I don't think that possition was temporary

Such things are quite normal..You will come back to normal in some time ..So dont worry !!

IMO,... google dont craw all pages, and update the SERP overnight.
basically that is google reindexing lately, and 1 of my 10 site, is drop to positio after 4th page, and it come back after few days. .. guess you need to wait a week,and check back again

 

have you lost any of your backlinks ? if you keep them , i think there is nothink to worry
