When I am trying to validate my site, it keeps getting a / added to the end of the address and failing - whats this about? I have tried amending my details to all of the following, all of which come back negative. I can see your code, all my site is in php and as far as I know I have no cache functions working on the footer - any ideas?? Addresses I have tried to validate: http://www.niknakgroup.com (this is automatically 301 redirected to the next url, but I thought I'd try it anyway!) http://www.niknakgroup.com/jewellery/index.php http://www.niknakgroup.com/jewellery http://www.niknakgroup.com/jewellery/ None of which seem to work. Help!
look, im probably being really thick here, but that answer really does not help. niknakgroup.com redirects to niknakgroup.com/jewellery/index.php niknakgroup.com/jewellery doesnt redirect anywhere, it automatically goes to index.php niknakgroup.com/jewellery/index.php CANT redirect, its the target of a redirect. All have been tried, all have failed. btw, when trying the last one, your failure message has it as http://www.niknakgroup.com/jewellery/index.php/ - with a trailing/ I still have no clue how to get this thing working. Because i am a bit slow, could any reply PLEASE spell it out for me - i'm getting a bit frustrated!
The way your server is setup, it would not work. If your server is setup so niknakgroup.com/jewellery/ does not redirect, then it would work.
Hi Shawn - I have moved to my own server since the last post, and am still trying to get myself validated - the co-op ads are showing on every page site wide (except the base page at www.niknakgroup.com/index.html which is static), but I cannot get myself validated at all. What do I need to change in my server setup? Please bear in mind that I am a complete novice with server settings, so will need idiot proof guidance if you are able to help!! Thanx in advance, Tony
