I wrote a sincere message about a webmaster issue here: http://www.webmasterworld.com/webmaster/3888810.htm It contained some potentially critique on Google (Health), and it was removed shortly. Why? I didn't receive a PM or whatsoever, to inform me about why the post was removed. And the post was truly honest and not accusing Google, but just asking some questions related to a webmaster issue of a friend. Does anyone have an idea what might be going on there?
Well, since your post has been deleted it is impossible to view it It would be difficult to judge anyway, because posts are deleted at the moderator's discretion. If that bothers you, why don't you contact the moderator?
The black vans will arrive at your home or workplace shortly, escape now while you can, meet a guy wearing an unusual hat on the street corner, he will provide you with further details, quickly.... they are coming..... No, maybe you broke a rule on that forum, have you read their terms? often people fail to do that and dont realise certain types of opinions are not allowed at some places.
Well, maybe it was known that they do this with (potentially) negative messages on Google. Sure, it wouldn't matter much if they did. But this topic may serve in that case to getting people more aware about it, also regarding Google. I am not really trusting their Google Health service, when it moves to an advisory platform. Public Health shouldn't lay in the hands of a company is what I believe (in general), and Google is - despite their credo Do No Evil - just a company, that needs to survive (financially). Will they prefer 10 billion legal pharmaceutical dollars, or serve people better? I don't know. This was in essence that I asked questions about in the message, and went deeper into.
Well, the main question was actually related to a health website being banned from google: fonteine - dot - com The webmaster told me he did not do Google tricks, and I believed him because he has no PHP knowledge and has written the thousands of HTML articles by hand himself. He doesn't even use a database, so SEO cheating is alsmost impossible for him. Second, his website looks good and I can't find anything wrong with it. His PR was removed, but index:fonteine.com still shows 11.400 results. His traffic dropped aswell from almost 12k unique per day. I already told him that I suspected he must have done something wrong, but I couldn't think of something. And Google did not reply to his revaluation request from Webmaster Tools or letters sent to their postal address in the USA, for the past 4 months. So this was the main question, the Google Health questions were a sidenote, because his website (sometimes) published negative on drugs and pharmaceutical companies.
