Hi friends i am little bit of confused about "what is Goal and why to make it in Google Analytics"?? and what is the use of funnel in it ... seeking for your kind and informative reply Thanks
Basically, the goal funnel is setting up multiple URL’s as a goal. For example, if you have a shopping cart on your site and a buyer has to go through five different pages to checkout, then you’d setup a goal funnel with those URLs in the order they would be in the process, such as: Step 1 – Shopping Cart Step 2 – Login or Register Step 3 – Enter or Confirm Address Step 4 – Enter Payment Info Step 5 – Confirm Order and Submit What this will do is show you if people are dropping the process at a certain point and maybe help you do some testing to see what would make conversions better, such as changing something on the Payment Info page if that is the one people are bailing out on. I hope this helps!
hi, We can set three tyes of goals in google analytics... 1-Time in site 2-Pages/Visit 3-URL Destination 1-Time on site means that if any visitor stay in our site for the time duration, like 5 minute, so if any visitor stay in our site for 5 minute, then we say that our goal is complete. 2-Pages/visit means that if any visitor visit any 5 pages(if we set 5 pages to complete the goal)in our site then the goal is complete. 3-URL destination means that, any visitor visit our url or not, if visitor visit our url, then our goal is complete. So goal means that How much conversion we get........................ Thanks Makk
