I will be most willing to ignore you, if that is your wishes. In fact, observe how I am turning my back against you know. On another note, I am finishing with the 'task' I alluded over the weekend. I will return to the bastion tomorrow, bright and cheery and raring to go. In case you are wondering at my absence there today.
I am in the process of finishing my fourth ghost writing book. The first three were short thank God, This one is going to weight in at about 240 pages, If a book is fictional, it allows you to be creative. Mine is called College Student Loan Scandals, and involves research and trying to put pieces together in a uniform fashion. My opinion: BORING. In my case the pay is fine, but I am 90% done, and the last part of compiling everything smoothly with such a large quantity, is something I have put aside, until getting the wake up call to get it done. Stick to articles, syndicated posts, and other content writing. You start out super enthused but at the end just want to do a good job and get it ended. I would rather do other forms of ghostwriting, including articles instead. This is an over three year client, that has used my writing services for over $10,000 already, and he is still not through.
How do you juggle multiple major assignments DY? I am barely able to breathe this past week, juggling content, columns and my own book. I fear that I can't keep this up much longer. As it is, I have stopped taking any new clients for the past month Thanks
Back on track, don't make me get PR in here and have you guys scolded. Now a Ghostwriter as mentioned earlier is someone who writes and gets no credit. As it was also mentioned earlier Ghostwriters are also found in the BST section. I do believe it as was also mentioned that ghostwriters write books, ebooks, articles, press releases and a whole slew of other writing projects all of theme go to the person paying top dollar to the writer for this service.
K2, check out his post here:http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1880412#post14627957 I don't know whether to laugh or, laugh. Okay, I'll just laugh then.
Used a lot by famous people when they don't have time to write their own books Basically, someone else writes for you, you take the credit.
It's when you hire a ghost to write a book for you. Ghost writing is when an author publishes a book or article without using his/her real name on purpose. They instead use a dummy name, one that doesn't exist to hide their true identities.
Here are a few possibilities of what a ghost writer is: 1. A writer who has died from lack of food and sleep caused by writing 10,000-word articles for companies who promised to pay after 10,000 days after publication; 2. A ghost who decides to take revenge on companies mentioned in (1) by camping on the aforementioned companies' websites and makes mysterious comments totally unrelated to the content of the website. 3. Ghosts created by writers in their articles. Said ghosts being created solely for the purpose (2) in the event of (1). Hope that is useful.
Very useful. Follow up question though, and it is a two-parter (i) Does the ghost need any assistance with the random posting in the offending company's site? Cause I really detest the mongs who pulls this kind of tricks. (ii) Why did the ghost formerly known as a writer took a 10k assignment without any sort of upfront payment?
"...need to have outstanding writing abilities to be taken seriously..." And if a write actually has outstanding writing abilities, why should said writer be ghost writing, in the place, instead of writing under his own name or pen name as the case might be?
