Hi friends, how are you all? Can you help me to know about GEO in Analytic? I saw this word in Google Analytic tool. But i don't know the use of it. so if know then please share with me your knowledge.
GEO Data, it is otherwise called as GEOAnalytics. It consists of two sections: Language Location Location section has the record of where our website is viewed in and around the world Languages report in Google Analytics GA takes these report from the users browser language setting.
As specified above... Any time you see something (especially in traffic/analytics) reference Geo they are referencing Geography, or location. It will be everything related to your traffics location and where the people visiting live or are connecting from.
Usually if there is something you don't recognise in Google Analytics you can click through and the data is self-explanatory. How you use it varies from website to website. I look after a site that is only intended for New Zealand user so any non-NZ traffic is a waste. We work hard to ensure we don't get much of it and that the search engines know to only send local traffic. Other sites will be more international and you'll be wanting to see what the balance is and make changes to the content accordingly.
GEO in Google Analytics means Geographical mapping on earth. It means: Location: From which location is user live on your website. Language: in which language settings is user's browser having. The most amazing feature about Google Analytics is that you can see no. of live users on your website. Google Analytics > Real Time > Overview. Hope this info will help you.
