You can use Google Base and add a "Product" type for free. When you do this. your product gets added to Froogle...and sometime at the very top of Google searches. For example search google.com for "marines hockey jersey" at the very top will be "Product Search results"...this is coming from Froogle (ie. Google Base)

Froogle is a good thing, and I believe one day it will be stronger than eBay.

We should clarify that Google Base and Froogle are not the same thing; it is unclear what will become of Froogle. Base is Google's answer to Yahoo! Paid Inclusion, granted with MANY more benefits. Essentially, you can upload content or a feed of content to Base to be distributed through Google Search, Maps, Froogle, etc. Base has many of the features and benefits of a comparison shopping site and simlarities with Froogle leaving many to believe one is the replacement of the other. Anyone know more?

Since Google base no longer has results appear above the organic results on the Google homepage it is no longer very helpful.

Google's Froogle, a comparison shopping search engine, allows buyers to compare prices for various items all in one place. Froogle used to be a place where you could sell things as well; however, that capacity has been switched over to Google Base.

Froogle now called as Google Product Search is different from most other price comparison services in that it neither charges any fees for listings, nor accepts payment for products to show up first. Also, it makes no commission on sales. Any company can submit individual product information via Google Base or can bulk submit items for inclusion. Notably, advertising space is available for purchase to be displayed in Product Search in the form of an AdWords ad, similar to those in other parts of the Google network.

    Full details here.
