There are lots of people we meet on every two days and attach a relationship with them. After some days we may forget most of them. But some of those we can't never forget. They become a "friend" with us. But is it a perfect definition of "FRIEND"? What do you think?
generally I think this image can give a good definition. And yes people you have not seen in years could be better friends that the ones around you.
Thanks to everyone to share your thinking... I quite agree with @zahidhassan1992...but is it only based of "understanding one another forever" ? Between a husband and a wife, there is also alive a mutual understanding forever...so can we say is it friendship or they are a good friend?
There are no friends in these days. What you have are acquaintances, you never know who is going to hit you in the back one day. You cannot trust people in these days. Even if you think they are your friends because you know them for many many years. People are unpredictable, worse than animals. Watch you back from them
I remember quotes from Marilyn Manson, He said "If you want to find out who your real friends are, sink the ship. The first one to jump aren't your friends."
A real friend can understand better than your mother. And it is great you have at one real friend on earth
@vian My dear brother, today's world is too much critical...just look around ... there are lots of family where one brother kills another for property
A friend is someone that you can trust and rely on. This is a person that you can go to for advice. But most of all a friend is someone who likes you for who you are and will not try to change you.
