What is form W-8-BEN?

    Hello,

    I dont live in the states. Adsense and affiliates ask for form W-8-BEN. What happens if I fill it? Do I have to pay taxes? Any help is appreciated. :)

    W-8-BEN is to decrease your status as an alien and being exempted from US federal tax. I believe it's a must in order not to pay US taxes (not including tax on interest), although personally I have not been asked for the form yet....
