What is Fake Alexa? How can you check if it's fake?

I've heard about fake alexa a while back ago. But IDK what it is. Can you guys explain it and tell me how to check and see if a website has fake alexa?

 

You can't check it AFAIK all you can do is not give a dam about Alexa (most people in the industry do that) and rely only on the traffic data .

 

How can you rely on someones traffic data if you don't have access to it? Can you name a better site then alexa for tracking traffic?

 

Fake alexa is when you don't get the rank on the basis of the traffic coming to your website.

 

You can use "compete" to check other people traffic rather than alexa ranking.

Generally Alexa suites for sites <10,000 rest the results are not accurate.

 

some people buy some fake IP then will get fake alex..
