Doing anything that cheats the system is black hat...getting tons of links maliciously, spamming, link farming, inserting code into other sites (hacking), etc.
Here are some black-hat techniques, just to name a few: cloaking keyword stuffing door-way pages spamming hidden text Improper redirects Doing these will only get your site banned from Google and other SE's. Most use these techniques when they want a large amount of short-term traffic.
cloaking keyword stuffing door-way pages spamming hidden text Improper redirects keyword stuffing, spamming and hidden text are logical, but can som1 plz explain the other techniques
Black hat is basically any techniques that are illigal in the eyes of google.. *They can be keyword stuffing, *Exploting SE rank by automated tools *Any thing else that google finds dodgy and will get you peanlizied in the search ranks.
seo techniques that are deemed as inappropriate by search engines. they are mostly against fair play rules.
Blackhat SEO is the effort to elevate your website to SERPs using methods that don't comply with search engines terms. With other terms what is good and fast for you isn't good for them
Black Hat uses unethical ways in order to get back links. Cloaking, improper redirects, link farms, keyword stuffing, hidden text, door way pages and spamming are just some of the methods that falls under black hat.
Doing anything against the rules for attaining short-term gains is called black hat, I think. This list pretty much sums up all there is to say about black hat SEO.
cloaking is a technique to hide/mask original URL. doorway pages I don't know what SearchBliss meant, but it must be something to redirect the spider to a different URL using .htaccess file to get fake pagerank.
Great submissions here - especially for some newbie’s in Internet Marketing. If you pay for SEO campaign how do you make sure that Black Hat practices are not included?
I just wanted to include; i dont think all bat hats are for short terms; some last longer than you can expect. I dont even think cloaking would fall under black hat. Tons of affiliate marketers cloak their links; its just the way it works . In simple words, black hat is unethical to Certain Extent!!!
As far as I understand, cloaking - you just run a check on user agent. And if it's a search engine bot you display a different page that you would normally display to a web browser.
Correct But doorway pages are not so blackhatty as cloaking And dont forget, doorway pages brings a real lot of $$$$$$ ))))
If you know what is spam, you should know what is blackhat seo, you are suggested to use whitehat seo if you want to do long-term business.
