What is everyones CTR so far this month?

Mine is 0.19% ...

That is an ugly percentage. I'm sure there are people doing better than this. I think it is so low because I get a lot of stumble traffic, and that != targeted traffic.

Anyways, what is everyone else getting so far this month?

 

my CTR rates are down, I presume it's because of the prevalence of Ad Blockers - everyday more and more users discover them and some browsers in-built with them so it's going to get a lot trickier to make money through advertising alone.

True, but I would assume that the people that install the ad blocker extensions would generally not click on the ads anyway.

 

Im doing worse, 0.13%, think im just gonna start selling advertising on my main site as adsense seems to be a waste of time...

 

I'm at 2.20% right now...but I have a couple pages that are at 20% and doing pretty well.

 

Since this is against TOS to display this information I gave rought estimates for just one of my sites.

Impressions: Around 5 million
CTR: %0.10 ballpark
Clicks: 4,000+

 

yours is terrible than mine.

I still earn well over $1,000 a month with just that one site, so its fine by me.

 

November avg: 2.64% CTR

 

Yeah, if I had 5 million impressions, I think I could live with 0.10%

 

Is that CTR with a lot of impressions? 2.64% could def make you some money!

 

That doesn't even include my refferals and mobile adsense information

 

I average 4-6K impressions daily, it's the arcade niche though so hitting around $3 daily on average. I wish I had spent the time I have on my arcade on a higher paying niche!

 

All the higher paying niches are boring as hell though.

Anyway, I'm only getting around 100-200 impressions. and my CTR is about .2%, lol. = Not much money

Can't quit my job yet anyhow, lol

 

Atm my website is around 6% CTR, but I because of indexing troubles I i have a very low visitor count. I am not a happy guy atm

 

My top site is still at its constant 7-8% CTR. My AdSense optimized site is at a constant 15% CTR. No real changes here. As for some of my other hobby sites that I just slapped AdSense on, I don't really pay attention to them but I see CTR fluctuates between 2-9% on those [Average]. My lowest CTR ATM is 0.45% on an AdSense channel I wasn't expecting to do well. I'm most likely going to remove that altogether.

 

What ad placement are you using to get such a high CTR?

 

some high CTRs here, we average anywhere between 0.5-2.0% seasonally

 

How do you do that? I thought mine were optimized! Would you be so kind to take a look at my site (first sig link) and let me know how I could improve mine? Or maybe just share some of your secrets on getting a better CTR?

 

I swear by image ads, skyscraper on the left or right of the content. I've never had high CTR with text ads so maybe you could try image only ads for a week or two..
