What is EMD Ypdate

I think many website are effected by EMD updates, You can take action if your website drop rank if you are right and good backlinks of your website.

 

Only google knows best; how much effective EMD update. But what I found if your site content is original than EMD update is good for you. In the long run what I see that some spammers just purchase Exact Match Domain & post some duplicate content regularly to rank in search engines. Google just remove those domain from their record. But if our site contain unique original content than Exact Match Domain certainly good for us.

 

The EMD algorithm change targets low quality sites that have exact match domains. Matt Cutts of Google said only about three percent of search results will be affected, but there are news reports that the affected sites were more than that. EMD is effective only poor website ....

 

EMD means "exact match domain" which is exact matched from your main services with poor quality links. Matt Cutts announced that such domains will be punished after EMD update.
