E-mail marketing is the art of marketing through email. It is important that you do not spam under the name of email marketing. Seo is very much different from Email marketing. Regards/Puneet M.
Just to add on to what others have said, Email marketing is a great way to get some of your past visitors/subscribers/purchasers to come back to your site. If they have purchased or visited before they may be more inclined to do it again. Another nice thing about e-mail is that it's fairly affordable for you to deploy your mail depending on where you go through. I used to work for a company that managed a very large database of emails and we would just send offers and make monies from the commissions of the products in our email. With that in mind, there are a few ways of sending your mail out. You can get the email addresses yourself, ie: have a link to "signup for our newsletter" - Or you could offer commissions to other companies who maintain large lists.
true at some extent but you need highly targeted email address ..for example i have subscribed over 40 newsletters and neither i read them nor unsubscribe simply overlook them because you could find out from subject if its marketing or personal email .so until you have great knowledge donot expect much from email marketing .
Yeah I suppose, but we had millions of addresses, so we pulled a pretty good sized list no matter what query we used. Like you, I tend to ignore "newsletters" but perhaps he isnt serving a newsletter? The mailings I sent were branded as, "A service for busy shoppers" - essentially acting as a personal shopper for our subscribers. So I guess it just depends on what you want to send to your list. On the highly targeted note factor, you can buy those lists from a variety of vendors I imagine, our company only used one vendor though.
It's best to build your own email list, rather than buy one. The problem with a lot of marketers is... they build a list then just fire promotion after promotion at them. Is it any wonder people unsubscribe or turn off. The trick is... provide your email list with useful tips, tricks, free downloads and links to great resources. If you keep giving - you will find that recommendations made by you for affiliate programs will be much more accepted and the take up will be high. Having a responsive list gives you the ability to direct large volumes of traffic to any website you choose. Some marketers estimate that you can earn $1 per month for every subscriber you have, so 10000 subscribers = $10,000 per month. I would be slightly more conservative myself. Regards Baz
very risky to do especially if you do wrong because if they think you spammed or don't remember signing up for your mailing list they can get you in a lot of trouble.
