In working on my site, I use Google a lot for searches. Since my site lists the longest things, Guinness comes up a lot, followed by sometimes 30 - 40 other pages that have cut and pasted the info from Gunniess word for word. Should not these pages be penalized by the search engines instead of being listed on page 1? If you look at a Guinness record, there is not much content, just the bare facts. I know they are an authority and should be listed #1 for a relevant search term , but I don't see how other sites could or should make the top 10.
