Forget about dreamweaver it's too heavy and too complex and it is usually designed for bunch of big companies with lots of newbie employees. i can code you a beautiful control panel for your web site for only $150. if you are a newbie then well, mmm.. i think adobe has something else that is light. i am not certain it's name. but it's never a good idea to use these things except when you are learning stuff.. or when you need some specific colors for your web site. i only use dreamweaver to find coolest colors. that's it. - Sumer Kolcak
Something you should not use. Notepad++ > Dreamweaver And with the above statement, you will stop using any programs that generate the codes instead of you. Trust me, the sense of accomplishment you will receive knowing that your site was made out of your own pure hands is priceless On topic: It's a WYSIWYG text editor.

Hiya mate. Dreamweaver is a brilliant peice of software to create websites. If you are new to website design then I wouldn't touch dreamweaver unless you are happy with a basic WYSIWYG editor.
