what is DOFOLLOW

i m unable to understand DOFOLLOW... can anyone describe in simple words

 

Do follow means, That the search when searching a site, will Follow the url links on that website. So like if you comment on a blog for example, and its do follow, then the search engine will follow that link to that site. No follow, it doesnt Follow that link it carrys on searching the site its on. Hope this helps,

In a very simple means if we are using dofollow tags on our web pages then every link is crawled by search engine and index if we used no-follow tags then that web page is crawled but no links is crawled by crawler...

 

dofollow simply means will allow the flow of Page rank to that link

 

how i can find that my site is dofollow

 

By looking at the code. You want to look for the rel attribute. Or you could make your life easier by installing the firefox add-on NoDoFollow.
