    DMOZ is the open directory submission site and there you can submit your link it means you can create back link.

    Dmoz is a open directory.... and the only directory still managed but humans and not by BOTS.
    It's believed that sites got listed in DMOZ directory gets priority in search engine ranking, and it also helps you to get backlinks for your site.

    DMOZ is an open media directory. In other words, all are encourage to submit their website to the site. All they have to do is to define the website accurately. If a website is a selling site, define the product that is sold. This would actually help the administrators and the editors of DMOZ. DMOZ staffs are just volunteers, meaning they have another job aside from DMOZ. This is the reason why it will take a considerable amount of time before a website is listed in DMOZ. It would normally take about 2-3 weeks. There is also a time that websites are not posted in the listings even if the 3 weeks deadline is reached. It is because of the influx of sites that the editors need to review and of course, if the website do not contain original content, has broken links and promotes pornography and other violent data.
