The main difference between SEO On Page and SEO Off Page is where you make the improvements to rank your site in Google.

SEO On Page refers to everything you can optimize within your own website:

    The content (texts, keywords)

    Titles and descriptions

    URL structure

    Loading speed

Correct use of tags (H1, H2, etc.)

    Optimized images

Off Page SEO is everything that happens outside your website, and that helps to improve your reputation and authority:

Links that other pages make to yours (backlinks).

Mentions of your brand on other sites

Participation in social networks and forums

    External reviews

    To sum up:

On Page = what you control on your website

Off Page = what others do or mention about your website.

Both are important to improve your search engine rankings.

On-page SEO involves optimizing website elements such as content, title tags, meta descriptions, headings, and internal links.
Off-page SEO focuses on activities outside your website, such as earning quality backlinks, digital PR, and building brand authority.
In short, on-page SEO improves your website, while off-page SEO strengthens its reputation and credibility. Both are essential for better search engine visibility and organic traffic.

A useful way to think about the order is to fix the on-page side first, because that is the part you fully control: does the page answer the searcher's question clearly, is the heading structure sensible, and does it load well on a phone? Off-page work then supports a page that already deserves to rank, rather than trying to rescue a weak page with links. The common mistake I see is chasing links before that first part is solid, which makes any gains hard to keep.
