What is difference between Yahoo SEO and Google SEO?

Both the SE have a unique algorithm to trace the backlinks and then the Google has a weight assign method like PageRank and Yahoo might be having some thing like that to trace the position in its SERP's.

 

I guess they are both same,with different name and popularity......

 

in my views there is not a big difference between yahoo,s SEO and Google,s SEO both,s techniques are similar

Yahoo is slow.you have to wait for some days to see your results.I prefer google.

 

Google is more secure and sensitive than yahoo so if you optimize on your site on those two site then make sure about content, keyword, back link etc

 

I think there are no differences in SEO techniques at both search engines. They are the same to Yahoo and Google

 

As rank shows the status for any website. As if you have quality and meaningful information on your website then you can get rank high in google , as per new Google Panda Algorithm it believes the quality first.
As for Yahoo I havn’t heard about any particular structure. But to get good rank on any search engine you have to give quality content and try to get good backlinks and more traffic.

 

the difference can can be know after reading two points:-

1 – The first site ranks No.1 on Google for “search engine optimisation”
2 – The second site ranks No.1 on Yahoo for the same term.


The On Page Factors The first thing that is obvious is the site that ranks higher in Google is much better optimised on page. Every aspect has been taken care of from title tags to meta keywords and all headings are utilised.
The Yahoo ranking site misses the opportunity to optimise the H1 tag and has no meta keywords.
I know meta keywords are not supposed to be a ranking factor but every site that ranks high uses meta keywords, surely there is something in this?

Off Page Factors Again the site ranking higher on Google has a far superior link popularity with a higher anchor percentage and relevance percentage. Also on top of this the average link to this site passes 3 times the PageRank in comparison to the Yahoo ranking site.
Looking at this from a “google seo” point of view it is not hard to see why this site is ranking higher on Google.

Difference between Yahoo SEO and Google SEO is:

Yahoo SEO is 8 letters long - Google SEO is 9 letters long.

 

In context of Yahoo SEO,Google SEO is better,since Google displays plenty of pages compare to yahoo for the optimization and fame of Google is more than yahoo.We usually prefer Google.

You have to work according to the algorithm of Yahoo to get high ranked there. Yahoo really give concern to Meta tags and description and their main trigger is traffics.

 

Their algorithms are always changing time to time.
But that makes no difference.You just need to do SEO rest will done by itself.

 

I can confirm Yahoo works exactly the same like Google except one little difference, Google will punish you very fast if you create your backlinks to fast, yahoo doesn`t this concerns Bing too, Google dropped many of my websites recently but I have still very high positions in Bing and Yahoo, about 30-40% of my traffic comes before from them and still coming but now it`s about 90% after Google slap ):
