What is difference between xml sitemap and html sitemap

    I think "websitetools" has already given you the answer. Let me say it deeply, HTML sitemaps and XML are both useful to help search engine to crawl your site. And, HTML can help your visitors have a comprehensive understanding of your site, while XML is specially desingned for search engine, once you have made some changes or add some new content, you can use XML sitemap to inform search engine.

    and xml sitemap file for search engine.
    so you need to create both type of sitemap file for your website.

    An html site map is attached to your web page as a listing of you pages. A xml site map is a xml formatted list of your links that is easy for the SEs to read.

    I have attached both versions below for you review to see the difference.

    HTML sitemap is for user and XML sitemap is for search engine

    sorry bro strong your search on this topic. HTML sitemap is just for the user, not a search engine and XML sitemap is for the search engine to crawl the website.
