What is difference between Visitors and Unique Visitors?

Visitor means is entire amount of people who visit your website. Unique visitor means if any person visit your website URL two times it unique visitor will be one.

If person comes to your site once in a while and then was a visitor is a unique visitor. and then this visitor comes your site again that called we are returned visitor.

Unique visitors refers to the number of unique individuals that visit a website within a specific time frame. The time period set can vary depending on the tracking system in use, but it can be a week or month.

There are usually two ways to track unique visitors, and this may be through a tracking cookie or by unique IP addresses. So, if your tracking method uses a month long tracking cookie, one web user can visit the website as many times as they want during that time and only have it counted as one visit.

Visitors:

A visit refers to a visitor’s session with your website. During the session, the user can view any number of pages, but the visit as a whole will count as one. The session ends when the visitor navigates to a new website, closes the browser or is inactive for a certain period of time (i.e. 30 minutes). If the visitor returns to the website later in the day, this will count as the second visit.

 

Unique visitors are come first time on your website. But simple visitors are daily visitors ...

 

That is the thing i want to know that so you are saying visit and unique visits are differentiated on the daily basis??

it means if the same person visits your site on the very next day then that will be considered as a unique visit?????
