What is difference between CPM and CPC

    What is difference between CPM and CPC. how it working and what is the way to calculate the cpc and cpm

    CPM is cost per 1000 impression and CPC is cost per click.
    CPM pay you based on impression but CPC pay you based on the click

    Exactly.. what lifeplayer said - for example:
    Google Adesnse = CPC (they pay you for each click)
    Tribal Fusion = CPM (they pay you for impressions - doesn't matter if anyone clicks)

    Here is one more example

    - For CPM ads you get paid for example 0.0005 USD when your ad shows to your visitor
    - - you don't get paid when visitor clicks on ad

    - For CPC ads you get paid for example 0.10 USD when visitor clicks on your ad
    - - you don't get paid when ad shows to your visitor

    cpm pay per thousands impressions when the ads is shown

    while cpc pay base on click. no clicks = no $.
