what is diff between these three On-Hold (Generic) On-Hold (Redemption Period) On-Hold (Pending Delete) Please explain .
t= expiration date t-1 day -> status ACTIVE t -> status HOLD: the domain can not be used but it still can be renewed t+30 -> REDEMPTION PERIOD: the domain is deleted, and can not be reactivated unless you pay a high fee. t+60 -> status PENDING DELETE t+65 -> final deletion at the registry, the domain becomes available for registration. On-Hold (Generic): 9-30 days before a domain expires and goes into the "pending deletion phase." On-Hold (Redemption Period) : Not renewable, unless you pay high fee. On-Hold (Pending Delete): Period after redemption, no way of getting the domain back until it is deleted from the registry.
I am at day 70 now for a domain I want and I can not get any WHOIS data, the only place that works is GoDaddy, they are the registrant. The domain is shown not available in the Pool, and it is not listed for auction on goDaddy. any help?
I just hosted my personal website, albeit through a third party- I had my website online for a couple of days after which I get a bad link. I have checked the whois domain and what I have on it is the on-hold(generic) but I just paid for the domain and it only expires next year, please explain
