What is definition of a Clickbank Joint Venture?

I'm trying to figure out what most people refer to or define a Joint Venture with Clickbank a Vendor.

Please add your description/definition of what you think/know about a VJ

for me a JV takes place when i promote a product from another vendor...and that vendor promotes my product..

 

I think being an affiliate for someone makes you a JV partner and the other way around too
