    Hello Everyone,

I'm almost new on this forum and doing some research on adsense as I'm going to set up my own blog within a few days. So I joined here to get some knowledge about google adsense. But I'm having some problem related to it. Can you tell me what is CPC and CTR? Sorry if its a stupid question.

The elaboration of CPC is Cost Per Click. It is an amount of money that people earn by the clicks of the users. CTR means click through rate. It is the number of ad clicks divided by the number of page views.

Pay per click (PPC) (also called Cost per click) is an Internet advertising model used to direct traffic to websites, where advertisers pay the publisher (typically a website owner) when the ad is clicked.

The cost-per-click (CPC) is the amount you earn each time a user clicks on your ad. The CPC for any ad is determined by the advertiser; some advertisers may be willing to pay more per click than others, depending on what they're advertising.

CTR is the ratio of the number of times a user clicks on an online advertisement per number of viewers who view the Web site that has the advertisement on it. For example, if one out of 100 people who visit a specific Web site click on an advertisement and are taken to the advertiser's site, then the CTR of that advertisement is 1/100, or 1%.

CPC is click per cost = the amount you earn when people click on your ads
CTR = number of click / 1000 x 100, the number of clicks per 1000 visitors, eg. 10 clicks out of 1000 visitors, your CTR is 1%
