I was just looking in the ebook section and I kept seeing the term "CPA." One author even starts his promo with "...every body knows what CPA marketing is etc..." Very strange term to me..anyone give me a hint? Thanks!
How about using google? Nr 1 result for "CPA" - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cost_per_action Read it, and if you still got any questions then ask away.
A quick answer would be: CPA = Click Per Action ... i.e. someone fills a forms or they sign up to a service (could be a free one) and you get paid a commission. Every time a person performs an action, you get paid. Hope this helps
CPA - Cost per action is an online advertising form to set pricing strategy. When someone click on advertisement, advertiser pays him/her a predefined amount. Thank you
CPA is stand Cost Per Action (earlier known as Pay Per Action or PPA) is an online advertising pricing model, where the advertiser pays for each specified action (a purchase, a form submission, and so on) linked to the advertisement.
You get paid per. email adress, phone number etc. submitted by customers directed by you. The good thing about CPA is that it doesn't require that people buy anything
Wrong, CPA also includes sales, trials and similar. As long as the visitor thakes the correct action required, the affiliate get paid.
Since what "CPA" stands for has already covered, I'll skip that part and try to stick to adding to the info that is already here. CPA marketing is a very lucrative way to make money, once you get the hang of it. It involves "offers" from companies who are trying to get leads or sales - this is where you come in, usually. Like any affiliate program, you drive traffic to their offers and get paid for the people who complete the offer. Personally, I think CPA can be GREAT for newbies because you don't necessarily need to convince people to buy something. While it is true that there are CPA offers that require people to pull out their credit cards, the ones that only require an email submit and the like can be really easy to promote. There are even ones from major companies like Netflix, where you simply get people to sign up for a free trial and then you get paid! Offers like that, when you can find them, are pretty easy to make a lot with because you don't need to convince people that the offer is legitimate, nor do you need to "sell" them on anything.

CPA marketing is where the big money is at for all the small guys w/o a branded product. You get to promote branded products with little or no start up costs. Its a very win win model and something you should take a good hard look at.
CPA or Cost Per Action is a type of affiliate marketing where you are paid based on the action of a consumer, they might buy something or fill in their name and address, for which you get paid
