What is "Could Hosting"? Is There Any Different Between A Shared Hosting?

    Hello DP members! Do you know what is cloud hosting? is there any different between a normal shared hosting? I'm goggling some webhosting review and stumbleupon this webhosting provider : SiteCloud.com. They claimed to be the 1st could hosting? Anybody using SiteCloud here? Feedback please :)

    I assume that there are hundreds of web hosts offering cloud hosting solutions. Compare them and choose the best one.

    I think the best advantage of cloud hosting is that you pay as you use.

    Cloud hosting allows you to have your files on multiple servers located in the cloud - probably the best thing about cloud hosting is that your site will never get suspended for spikes of traffic.

    If your site is becoming famous on, say, Digg, sending 1000s of views in a short period of time, most non-cloud hosting will suspend your account for excessive CPU usage - this even made worse if you use WordPress without caching plugins. Cloud hosting providers won't shut your account for this.

    depend on level of complexity of their cloud hosting configuration, it can be just two servers or hundred of server in one network.
    Price varries alot in cloud hosting plan, can be at $5 per month or hundred of dollars per month.
    Check the level of cloud network provided, including web server, network router, backup server, harddisk type as some are offering SSD solid-state for their cloud hosting plan.
