Hi, is France wroth visiting? What is cool about FRANCE? What can you do in FRANCE? Why should someone what to learn french? Well im starting to learn the french and so far its like hearing Cartman speak hutu!!!California is great but i thought i might want to see some of the world so im picking up french so i can enjoy all france has to offer without headaches! cya..
The bread, the cheese, the people (yes really!), the weather, the TGV, the Metro, the countryside, the architecture, the catacombs, the Pugs and Cits... I was there in 2004, and got by with not much more than "Sorry, I can't speak French". Making an effort is half the battle. A lot of the French people I spoke to (especially in the cities and major towns) magically started to speak English once they knew I was at least attempting to speak their language
Visiting the Catacombs is an absolutely fascinating and totally surreal experience. It's more haunting than scary. You pay the lady at the gate, and down the steps you go to visit thousands of dead souls. Everything about it is incredible. Next time I'm in France, I'll definitely be taking one of the unofficial tours of underground Paris.
There are some nice beaches on the atlantic coast some nice surf spots in bordouex that are on my wish list alsi spain is not far away mundacca has a nice left point break. and the food and girls
I been in Paris some years ago and after that trip i allways had Paris as my favorite city in the world.
Being an Englishman, I am supposed to hate the French, but really the country is pretty cool. I've never been myself, but certainly want to soon (it's third on the list, first is Italy, second is Japan).
