What is considered to be low ctr in smartpricing

I was smartpriced a few weeks ago ( only 1 cent per click though was 25 before) , and trying to get out of it. I read that i have to take off adds from low ctr sites. I left 2 sites with ctr about %4 ( 500 people per day) and about 10% ( very little visits but high ctr). But situation didnt change. Though i waited for a week or 10 days. So i have a question now how much should be ctr, or i guess that there maybe some other problem, and i wonder which one, cause i have 2 years adsense account and i dint have any problems like this before....
also i remember i started loosing high clicks after i started creating different blocks for trying to find best ones and a lot of codes appeared in my manage adds place, so at that moment i remember i thought google didnt like it ( i just wonder that google may allow to delete inactive adds but it didnt that may mean that its a kind of an accoutn history to see what i am trying to do), what do you think about it?

Taking ads off of sites with low CTR is a myth. Who cares WHAT _your_ CTR is, it's the conversions on the ADVERTISER'S site that counts. If nothing converts there, 10% CTR isn't going to help. If over half the visitors convert, a CTR of 0.01% is just fine.

How do you know for sure you've been smartpriced? A more likely explanation is that a bunch of MFA advertisers have their ads showing on your site and that's why you're getting next to nothing for them. Examine your sites, see what sort of ads are being displayed (visit the sites via one of Google's approved methods, check out the "adsense preview tool") and if you can determine they are MFAs, filter them in the competitive ad filter.

Where is your traffic coming from geographically? If I were to use CTR as a gauge I would only be concerned about HIGH ctr as it means that you might be sending too a high a percentage of visitors to the ads (thus maybe not as targeted) Low CTR shouldn't mean anything as far as smart-pricing goes and the people who claim that it does need to think about the situation with some logic.

yes you may be right here, my blog is in russian. most of visitors from russia visit my web site, but also a lot of russians who live abroad are visiting it...do you think this is not smart pricing just clicks from abroad? My traffic comes totally from search engines...
