What is considered as a duplicate content in Article Marketing and how it effects the rank of website????? Hi I have a website which currently has a unique content on it. Now in order to get more backlinks to the website i am considering using Article Marketing and Press releases. My question is what will be considered as a duplicate content in article marketing?????? I have 3 following scenarios. Which one will be the best and worst for SEO and generating high quality backlinks and ranking high on search engines. 1) The Unique article which i have on the website is copied and posted on several article directories with backlinks to my website 2) Unique Article Number 1 on my website. Now i wrote a new unique article no 2 and posted on one article directory and later on the same article no 2 is posted on all other article directories. 3) Unique article 1 on my website. Unique article no 2 on article directory no: 1. Unique article no 3 is now posted on a article directory: 2 and so on ......this means new article on every new article directory besides having unique content on the webiste. I think you can go another way , Start forum posting at do-follow site and setup a signature with your targeted keyword , and also start blog commenting ,
Google panda effect has filter duplicate content, so submission same content to different articles directory will never work. To avoid duplicate content, you may try some effective way to convert text content to images, video, podcast. Content is not limit to text, infographic is an good example to reborn existing content to become fresh content.
duplicate content mean multiple pages/sites having the same content. so if you submit a single article to multiple article directories, they are all duplicate except one. always use unique content on your own site. submit a second article to the article directories. don't worry too much about duplicate content when you submit to article directories as you cannot get penalized for having duplicate content on 3rd party sites. while google will try to filter out as many of those duplicate pages as they can, there will still some good number of article pages left from where you will get backlinks. its not as fun as it used to be, but systematic article submission can still do magic.
Duplicate content will just ruin your rankings so don't do it. Post a unique article in every article directory you are submitting and also on your website.
No 3 scenario is best for SEO, but that's not the only factor in ranking there are other link building techniques to outrank competitors and generate traffic. No 2 can also be done with spun article in other directories and as Sultan said SEs just filter out the duplicate content and gives the best result for the users query.
Writing all those articles is time consuming. Article spinning is crappy at best. Write good, quality content, post it on quality sites and plug away...
