What is considered as a duplicate content in Article Marketing and how it effects the rank of website?????

    Hi
I have a website which currently has a unique content on it.

Now in order to get more backlinks to the website i am considering using Article Marketing and Press releases.
My question is what will be considered as a duplicate content in article marketing??????

I have 3 following scenarios. Which one will be the best and worst for SEO and generating high quality backlinks and ranking high on search engines.

    1) The Unique article which i have on the website is copied and posted on several article directories with backlinks to my website
    2) Unique Article Number 1 on my website. Now i wrote a new unique article no 2 and posted on one article directory and later on the same article no 2 is posted on all other article directories.
    3) Unique article 1 on my website. Unique article no 2 on article directory no: 1. Unique article no 3 is now posted on a article directory: 2 and so on ......this means new article on every new article directory besides having unique content on the webiste.

    Your comments will be appreciated.
    thanks

Excellent question, I'm so upset more people don't ask this.

If you're going to market your article, in my opinion, don't have it posted to your site. Write articles specifically for marketing that you will send to other sites with your link.

In order to be nice to the directories and other blogs that accept your work, make your articles as unique as possible for each one. This will prevent the blogs from being hurt by your duplicate content, and if you put a link in the article to your site, it won't look spammy.

ALTHOUGH, I've also heard from some people that multiple sites having an exact copy of an EXCELLENT article of yours (well over 500 words) is a good thing because it's like "oooo look at the great piece of work this guy made, let's not touch it but pass it around." I think that sort of has more of a pressreelease value than article value.

Duplicate articles - are just that - the same article (on site 1) copy and pasted onto any other site, it shouldn't effect your site - because you had it first... but it wont do you any favors to copy your articles and spam them on other sites - as these will be considered duplicates on the other sites & after a little while they will be considered shit & wont even count as a backlink - because they will get deleted from Google's index or penalized as duplicate...

As for writing new articles and submitting them to article directories - I wouldn't bother - you're wasting your time and writing for someone else for free... links back to your site from these places are now some what irrelevant - Google knows what your intention is and that's to get a back link and manipulate search results by boosting your search engine positions.

You're much better off keeping all the content and articles that you produce on your own site - these create new pages on your sites and links to your own pages and sites - and I feel that these links are just as beneficial these days as external links... On site SEO is just as important as off site SEO...

if you copy some one text from their website it will be copied content, or if you copy their design or any other copyrighted material.
