What is considered a high content website?

    Hi Everybody,

So I'm starting a new website. It's a niche (health/fitness) article site. I'm about to release it with 20 1000 word articles. Over the next month I plan to get 100 1000 word articles on the website.

All the content is unique and written by me. Can I expect much traffic from google for this? Any rough estimates on how much traffic I could get simply by google indexing my site?

I'm just curious how much content you need to start getting lots of organic traffic.

    Thanks.

It's impossible to say how much traffic you'll get without knowing the exact keywords for each article. It sounds like you're on the right track for organic traffic, though, as long as your site uses good SEO and you've picked the keywords well.

If you do not have an internal linking structure planned your wasting an awful lot of good content. I would hold off on rolling it out until you have targeted your anchor text (based on search query frequency) and have links sprinkled through out the site that are focused adn related semantically to the content.

If you have 120 large articles, you would do well to release about 20 or so a month for 6 months, but while releasing them pushing a lot of links toward them. Do both gradually and you'll win.
