What is Cloud Hosting?

    I wonder what is Cloud web hosting? I know what is shared web hosting, VPS and dedicated server, but I don't know what is the difference between these 3 types of hosting and cloud hosting.

    I wonder how you run hostyeah, a site related to web hosting when you do not have enough knowledge of hosting industry. BTW, how did you manage to get PR 4 for a website with only 3 paragraphs? You seems to be the most expert guy in SEO :D

    Cloud host has proxy servers located throughout the world. Proxy servers are located closer to your visitors, which means they will see page load speed improvements as the cached content is delivered from the closest caching box instead of directly off our server. There is a lot of research that shows that a faster a site, the longer a visitor stays.

    Cloud hosting means that you can change your resources on the way or automatically by the system. Like:
    on monday you had 100 visitors and paid for 1$.
    on tuesday you had 10000 visitors and paid 20$.
    on wensday you had 100 visitors and paid 1$ again.
    (figures are said for example and are not from reality)

    The only quite risky thing about it is a ddos as it can take very many resources that will lead to big invoice as result. It depends on your host.
