    It's something that is so far over your head you will never comprehend it so no need to ask further.

    Cloud computing is the delivery of computing as a service rather than a product, whereby shared resources, software, and information are provided to computers and other devices as a metered service over a network.

    A cloud computing service has 3 distinct characteristics that differentiate it from traditional hosting. It is sold on demand, typically by the minute or the hour;

    Cloud computing means anything that involves delivering hosted services over the Internet. Mainly, these services are divided into three categories:
    Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS)
    Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and
    Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).

    Yeah. It's all about how it's sold. Otherwise it's exactly the same as any host. No different. Hope you all understand it now.

    Cloud computing is just a fancy term for hosting content,services etc on servers, the way it's done. And the benefits are redudancy, if it's "in the cloud" then you can stuff around very quickly and not have to worry about single point of failures.

    Cloud computing is computing done by religious people who want to communicate with god so they aim their wifi signals at the clouds where they send their email and search the web for the one true meaning of life.

    I read a lot about how angels are investing in cloud companies which is why I know so much about cloud computing.

    Cloud computing, the long-held dream of computing as a utility, has transformed a large part of the Information Technology industry, has made software even more attractive as a service, and has shaped a new way of deploying Information Technology hardware. Cloud computing refers to both the applications delivered as services over the Internet and the hardware and systems software in the data centers that provide those services. The services themselves have long been referred to as Software as a Service (SaaS). Some vendors use terms such as IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) and PaaS (Platform as a Service) to describe their products. Cloud computing offers many benefits like very fast and remote accessibility via Internet, simultaneous accessibility for multiple users, utmost security, high reliability, extreme scalability, rolling data backup, economical pricing, 24 by 7 support service, and infinite storage potential.

    Cloud computing is a technology that uses the internet and central remote servers to maintain data and applications. Cloud computing allows consumers and businesses to use applications without installation and access their personal files at any computer with internet access. This technology allows for much more efficient computing by centralizing storage, memory, processing and bandwidth.

    A simple example of cloud computing is Yahoo email, Gmail, or Hotmail etc. You dont need a software or a server to use them. All a consumer would need is just an internet connection and you can start sending emails. The server and email management software is all on the cloud ( internet) and is totally managed by the cloud service provider Yahoo , Google etc.

    Cloud computing is broken down into three segments: "application" "storage" and "connectivity." Each segment serves a different purpose and offers different products for businesses and individuals around the world.

    Cloud computing is simply a set of pooled computing resources and services delivered over the web.
