I am thinking of joining an affiliate program that offers $97 for every new web hosting sign up. I'm thinking about advertising my affiliate link with Adwords. How many targeted clicks do you think I'll need before someone buys web hosting?
It depends on the conversion rates for the page. Many pages convert terribly (less than 1%). Other convert fantastically. I look after one that converts at 19% Test test test!
I'm seriously having ridiculous luck with passion affiliate. Believe me.... EVERYONE clicks on the pretty girls. Check my sig for signup! But if you target your program correctly, I'd guess around 1 of 50 would sign up.
The conversion rates from clicks to sales depends on alot of things. Some of these include: - The way you write your campaigns - The audience who sees your campaigns - How professional the web hosting site looks like - How competitive the web hosting is to other web hosting providers - How good their customer service is - How many and what type of hosting plans they have to offer - Etc...
there is not one answer. as it depends if your traffic is free or not. If you are paying for your traffic you don't want to exceed the amount you would get paid. so if you get 10 bucks i deally you would want to spend 5 to 7 on advertising to get one signup anything lower than that is big success unless you can get MASSIVE volume. then even every 9 you spend you get one signup is worth it if you have large volume.
