If it only does it sometimes, and loads other times, then it is probably your host timing out spiratically. If your config.php file wasn't correct it would never connect, so that's not it.

If you get "site could not be loaded" or "Network Timeout" that is either your ISP connection or Firefox timing out.
If you get error 500, or "Error Establishing Database Connection" that is your host.

It's amazing this all works at all huh?

Just give your account data to them and let them fix it because they have give you wrong information about the plug in.......

My personal experience with that plug in is that it can suck. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't and I have never been able to figure out why it's not consistent with every site.

I don't see how your theme can be responsible for server time outs unless you have a memory leak somewhere that is draining the RAM on the servers, however, on shared hosting..normally they would not let one site affect all of the other sites on the server and memory leaks usually come from plug ins or scripts, not theme designs.

A server time out is from the host. You don't have enough control on shared hosting to affect anything on their servers or their up time. I have found that when I get general answers from a hosting company about what "it could be", it means that either they don't know, or that it's an ongoing problem that is not going to be fixed soon.

Any good hosting company knows what the problem is with their own servers, they don't send you on wild goose chases deleting things that "may be " the problem.

One thing I did notice on your blog was a notice to allow pop ups. What ever that is...I'd get rid of it.
I don't know what that's all about, but you may want to make sure that what ever script you have that is doing that is not a rogue adware script. Not all ad programs run smoothly, some downright suck and will drain your site.
