What is better, quantity or quality?

If I post in quality niche blogs and forums, but they all have the evil no-follow attributes, then is it gonna be any useful to my PR or back-link authority in any sense. I know it will affect the traffic in a better manner.

 

Best is quality with quantity. Why to go for better if you can get the best?

Different persons have different Thinking ... As per my point of view ...if u have 100 backlinks with 1 PR so..its better.. to 20 backlinks with high PR like 7,8,9.

 

Honestly, it is easier to get 100 backlinks from PR 1 websites, but I think that the long term benefits of links from high PR websites are much more. It takes more work but the results are better.

 

Both quantity and quality counts to get ranked well.

 

But those high PR websites are secured by the EVIL NOFOLLOW guard which prevents getting dofollow backlinks.

not all high PR sites have nofollow links. Personally, i like to use article marketing as it has provided me with backlinks, but I only focus on a handful of directories. I tried multiple directories and got very poor results. Ezine, hubpages and squidoo have good PR. On Hubpages and Squidoo, you have to work your way to a DOFOLLOW link but it is worth it for the PR.

 

Some backlinks can actually hurt your ranking

If it were true, then the SEO tweakers here on DP would have them filled with all the other SEO tweakers sites.

quality plus quantity is the best way of all.

Quality for sure. Best is going for quantities of quality.

 

There is no choice against Quality! Few bunch of Quality Links can make your site worthful among Search Engines

 

quality is more important ,and we should keep some quantity

 

this is as when you go to market shopkeeper tell you about two same things
like mango
one type of mango's are 2KG in $1
and other are 1KG in $1

in which you interested
and if you buy 2kg in $1 you might think what other are buying and what the comment your family pass when they see quantity but no quality

 

A large quantity of high quality links would be ideal.
