I was thinking about this and figured I should ask you experts. Should I name the pages like /blah_blah.html or /blah-blah.html or does it even make a difference. thanks
I remember this being answered before but I can't recall what the exact answer was. From what I remember people said to use the - not _ for it. I don't remember why though or if it made a big difference. My personal opinion is that it won't make a lot of difference but I always use - for mine.
actually if you search a webpage link which contains "_" then the result will only be limited to that link, means only those pages will come in the serp which contains that whole link either linked or non linked see live example http://www.google.com/#hl=en&source...ogle+Search&aq=f&aqi=&oq=&fp=c26c79a56c95bda8 but if you type a webpage which contains "-" in the links, then google will consider that as a sentence and will show results contain that phrase or sentence. live example http://www.google.com/#hl=en&source...ogle+Search&aq=f&aqi=&oq=&fp=c26c79a56c95bda8 so i think that google will recommend use of "-" in the links since the searcher can elaborate more different related web pages.
Be sure to include hyphens and keywords in your URLs. Below is an example: http://www.example.com/lawn-care-service.html
