What is better onlyX.com or Xonly.com

    Hi Guys if you could buy 2 domain names with .com extension both being onlyX.com and Xonly.com which domain would be better to launch the website ( of course dedicated to selling X) where X is anything for example: carsonly.com and onlycars.com guitarsonly.com and onlyguitars.com tiresonly.com and onlytires.com and so on. My question sounds like a school math excersice. thanks

    so:
    onlyviagra.com
    onlycheese.com
    onlymud.com

    testonly.com
    testingonly.com


    etc

    Of course, this is all my humble opinion.

    Agree with what's already been said, i.e. onlyX.com should work better than Xonly.com, however it does depend on the actual words you use.

    Probably the best way to go is to buy both the onlyX.com and Xonly.com version of the domain that you are interested in, once you have secured them you can ask the question again. Don't forget that the one that you don't use can be redirected to the domain that you do use so that you catch traffic from people who type your domain wrong.

    Hmmm, difficult.

    I think that onlyguitars.com reads slightly better than guitarsonly.com.

    In my opinion the eye finds it harder to read the words when they are all in the same case and without a space when in the order "guitars only" as opposed to "only guitars".

    If you're going to put work into developing a brand and a website, how would you feel if somebody else bought up a very similar brand and stole 20-50% of your search traffic? It's better to own both XOnly.com and OnlyX.com if you're going to invest your time and energy into a website. And if you plan on selling one, your buyer might find the other one available at a lower price. Get both.

    Onlyx.com is better. You can spell it easier and transform it in a brand.
