Hello, have a question. I have website iphonewarez.eu ; its based on phpbb3 at the moment, but i thinking about moving to the other CMS, which have more features in SEO. DOes it will help me to grow on google positions? Need to ask, because latter it could be too late, i will add more downloads and it will take too long to copy paste them to other CMS...
It really doesn't matter. They are two totally different tools for two completely different purposes. What is better a nail or a screw? Use the one that fits your project.
But i think wordpress is better, because there u can under the post , write some keywords. For example if i post app, and under it will write keywords, it will help in SEO?
Wordpress is better. The default is better, and it becomes awesome if you know how to edit it. phpbb3 kinda sucks at SEO...even with seo plugins...
Hi, In the Wordpress you can use User Friendly Urls ex. ( yourblog.com/banks-and-goods) rather than links that are poor in SEO. But notice that Wordpress is for blogs and phpBB3 for foruns.
I think my brain is about to melt. People are comparing a CMS and a forum script to see which one is better.

if you can i think you should switch to wordpress starting a forum up is hard unless you have the money to gain traffic and sign ups. With wordpress you can run it more like a site that posts cool and useful downloads.
Phpbb was always different to do onsite seo, i havent used the 3rd version, but i would change to wordpress if possible, because of much more simplier plugin installation and more plugins for seo tweaks.

So, you are going to start running a forum using a CMS. I am extremely confused, do you even know that they are both entirely different software applications?
