Doesn't really matter how the html is generated, it's all about content and links. Obviously it'll be easier to fully control things such as title and meta information if you code it all by hand, but then it's harder to generate content. I think your concern should be more focused on that.

Whatever site you may have as long as you have traffic, it doesn't matter at all...

Create a simple site using .shtml and use includes for menus and ads. this way updated and adding content is just as quick as posting to a blog.

Much more control and better ad placements with an html site.

    good luck...

Well speaking about SEO, I would go with simple shtml. It's easy to manipulate.. especially the tags

I suggest you go to wordpress, as that way, you will easily add more content in your site.

i think a simple site will make u earn much. sometimes it can be really difficult to put ads as u want with wordpress themes.
also simple design can be changed easily and u can mixed them with the content easily - sure this will increase the revenue.
revenue/visitors amount is much more for my own scripts than ready CMSs like wordpress or joomla.

whether to go with a simple html site or a blog depends on your future plan and objectives. if you want a static site with not much update or occational updates, then html site is the way to go. if you want a site where you will be updating it on a regular basis and will be adding lot of contents under different categories, then blog is the way to go. wordpress blogs just get crawled better by google bot due to their SE friendly navigation.

regarding getting original content, you can find lot of writers under content creation forum under services

I started with static HTML files and the biggest benefit of them is you can quite easily do anything that is possible in design terms without any significant limitations (as long as your very good at HTML). However, I now own around 100 domains (not all active) and over 50 run WordPress because it's a nightmare to deal with updating static HTML sites when it gets beyond about 50 pages (even below 50 pages isn't easy).

So even though it does add a few limitations (the limitations are easily out weighed by the benefits at least by 10:1 ratio) I'd strongly advise WordPress. All the sites in my sig use WordPress as a basic CMS (they aren't blogs: remove the monthly archives and a blog CMS turns into a general CMS).

Look at the recipe site in my sig, it will be 100,000 recipes when complete (currently close to 40K, adding some now) could you imagine trying to do this with static HTML files! I did at first and got to 11K and it was horrible to update, I'd have FTP timing out because it couldn't handle reading 11K files on the server let alone uploading them and if I wanted a keyword to link to a particular page I'd have to search and replace all 11K files and re upload them again!!!!

So when I found a way to easily convert from static to WordPress I made the change and now if I want a keyword to link to a particular page I use a plugin called aLinks (almost all the internal links you see in the content are via the aLinks plugin). In the time it's taken me to type this I've added over 2,000 more recipes, I couldn't even upload 2,000 files via FTP in that time.

If AdSense is important to your goals and you don't fancy learning how to add AdSense to WordPress http://www.morearnings.com/2006/07/28/add-adsense-to-a-wordpress-blog/ see my first sig link below. Currently those are the best WordPress SEO/AdSense themes online today (that confident they are the best if you can find a better AdSense/SEO WordPress theme I'll give you one for free).

What's about Joomla? It's better or worse than Wordpress?

It's so good if your site contains original content by hiring some copywriters. But the money you got from Adsense is enough for paying for copywriters or not?

I also own a temples site but I don't use it for earning money from Adsense. Maybe it's a good idea to develop a cultural & temples site in India.
