i have 2 ads 338X280 that bring me 35$ at day, and also i have 728X90 ads that bring me 1$ or 2$ is better to remove 728, to increase earning on 338 or better to stay
The only way to find out for sure is to try it. Which unit gets the most clicks? Which ever unit is higher up the page, should get the best paying ads. So, you could have your large squares near the top, and put the leaderboard at teh foot of the page.
I would keep the 728 but put it at the bottom like Kristijan does, as long as the visitors can't see the leaderboard without scrolling down. I mean what's the chance of someone scrolling back up to click on an ad. Having the ad at the bottom can add a little extra.
maybe you didnt understand, i have on one page 3 ads 2 338X280 and one leaderboard 3388X280 bring me 35 bucks and leaderboard one or two dollar if i remove leaderboard will 338X280 bring me more money
I would say no, since the highest paid ads are already at the top in the 338s. Removing the leaderboard will equal same earnings from 338s, unless your leaderboard was above the fold and causing people to hit the back button.
I agree to this. I did reduce the number of adsblocks to one large rectangle within the content and a linkblock. The overall clickrate per page and eCPM increased significantly afterwards (higher average click price). Maybe its because of "less" ads make the page look less "commercial" or something like this.
My experience has been that I get more money (and a better CTR) from one large rectangle at the top of my content and no other ads on the page. I used to have a banner at the bottom of the page and while it would perform well, it would take away from how well my large rectangle was performing. Just give it a try for a couple weeks and so how you turn out.
It really depends on the type of site that you have. One suggestion is to look at sites in your niche that are doing well and replicate what they are trying to do since they probably have done a lot of testing.
