What is better 1 PR 9 link or 5 PR 8 Links?

    what would be better for SEO one PR 9 link or 5 different pr 8 links?

    Any opinions?

    5 PR 8 links are definitely better. Those PR8 could easily turn into a PR9 later on.

    How about 1 PR 9 or 3 Pr 8's?

    Also, if a site has 20 internal links and 5 external links is that better then 5 Internal and 20 external?

    This tool can be used to take a guess at it -->

    1 PR 9 link: The PageRank should be: 6.5634551895454 = 7
    5 PR8 links: The PageRank should be: 6.4920315784343 = 7

    So it a virtual tie and you really need to look at the quality and relevance of the links to tip the scale.

    This site seems to think 1 PR9 is equivelant to 3.5 PR8's so the 5 PR8's would take it.

    Of course these tools are just guesswork and take many liberties to make an estimated assumption, but they are entertaining if nothing else.

    I would definitely go with 5 pr8 links as this would create more of influx of good links and eventually would result in pr9

    If you got a pr8,and you just want to keep your pr,you should go with pr9,if you got a low pr,and you should go with 5 pr8,that will help you to gain good pr in the next update greatly.

    Can I chime in? I have to go with neither because page rank sucks if you ask me. I go for a good Alexa ranking. Wait that sucks too.

    I think it depends on the amount of outgoing links on the pages, but I would go for the 5 pr8's because 5 sites would probably bring in more traffic

    1 PR9 would bring PR7, if it was a quality related PR9, it may give you PR8.

    5PR8 would bring PR6 for sure, possibly PR7

    i'd take the PR8s tho, google gives less weight to PR9 link sellers...
