    Avoid domains with dashes: people can remember the words; but they miss the dash placement.

    Don't think only about SEO: think about people. Let them remember your URL.

    You can of course go for both domains if you want to be sure not to have any copycats.

    Well we're talking about an event, right ?
    Register both and go develop it
    If you continue with these rhythm you should repost if it's better the name2008 or name-2008

    I love domain names and i work professionally with them but it needs a good developed site too
