What is Best Way to Get High Ranking Backlinks

    I have:
    1. Got reciprical links from every competitor I can
    2. Wriitten a good number of ezine articles and PR releases
    3. Maintain a few blogs with regular entries
    4. Been listed in many directories

    I continue to add links, but what is the secret to getting high ranking links?

    have you made unique content for your own site? Although this is a great start, try all SEO methods that you have not tried such as my favorite: blog commenting.

    The best way to get lots of natural backlinks is to provide entertaining and/or useful content.

    Try also submitting your site to Do-follow social media sites. But you have to make it sure that you provide a good content that interest everybody and participate in social community to build your profile.

    Although not the best way, the easiest way would be paying for them. It's more of a short term thing though since search engines are cutting down on paid links.
